Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to lead and empower our Agile engineering team. You will be a leader who ensures Agile principles are deeply embedded, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and removes impediments to maximise team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Coaching
Guide the team and organisation on Agile/Scrum best practices.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
Team Empowerment & Delivery
Foster a high-performing, self-organising team culture.
Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions.
Ensure sprint goals are met and delivery is aligned with business priorities.
Collaboration & Communication
Promote transparency through effective communication and reporting.
Drive alignment across distributed teams in EMEA and North America.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies.
Use metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to drive team performance.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
Proven success working with distributed, cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Experience in EdTech or working with North American clients is a plus.
Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II) is a plus.
